why's everything always black and white
i want to live in color
no more of this "grey area"
step out of the darkness into the light

pretend that my world never knew the night
that you never played with my heart
that my heart was never broken
and that everything was back to it's right

i want you to love me like i do you
apoligize and mean it
stop playing all your games
start everything new

barefeet on the beach
living free and easy
slow down this life
that'd seemed so out of reach

find what is missing
that which we always knew
we spent each night dreaming
and reminiscing

kiss me in pink
love me in blue
touch me in green
throw away that black ink

sing to me my favorite song
kiss me like you did before
love me like you know i crave
never do me wrong

paint me a rainbow
use all the colors in my heart
the colors that long to get out
get back to what you know
