Teardrop

I dream that with each tear I cry
a drop will start its sliding
And when it falls through cloud and sky
fall in a pool in hiding
The ripples spread and touch the shore
to come back to the middle
When will people ask for more
and solve this age-old riddle

Hidden well
and hidden deep
are lies they tell
and secrets they keep

Hidden in minds
that can't recall
hidden behind
the truth of all

This is excellent. It meets all my criteria for poetry - and I am full of admiration for your handling of a language other than your own (I write in German as well as English, so I know what I'm talking about).
