Whats on your mind?

What are you thinking about in the early morning light?
I often wonder where you go, as a mystical peace overcomes
the being next to me.
I only wish this wonderful calming, could stay with you
for always.
The breeze flowing freely, in the morning dawn.
Smelling sweetly the waking fragrance of the new day.
I am the lucky one, today I share this brand new morning
with you.
I would like to stay in this heavenly moment for just a
while longer.
One last deep breath.
What a lovely moment we had shared.

Just realized I commented on the same poem twice. Oh well, twice the love.

Sweet moment. You have caught one of those times where time stands still and yet you can still feel it waiting at the door. Nicely done.

there seems to be so much more to this poem. A great love, yes, a mothers love for a sickly child, maybe.
It is a sweet and loving piece of privacy and I thank you for sharing it
lol

I think you capture the bitter sweetness of the great moments. Wanting to hold onto them...don't we all.
