The death in me...

To be laughed at
And made fun of
They have no clue
How they leave me feeling inside
But, would they even care?
That I fell to the floor and cried
I wonder if it'd bother them
That because them, I nearly died
I tried so hard, to keep everything locked away
I tried, to stop these tears falling
But it doesn't matter
About the hurtful words you say
I hear them everyday
I'm used to it anyway
Just take one look at me
Look deep into my eyes
Can't you see the pain you cause?
The pain I seem to poorly disguise
Yet, you continue
To insult me, just like you always do
The look in your eyes
Tells me that you don't really care
About my despair
You wouldn't care if I fell to the floor
And died right here
It's what you came to see
The death in me
