tragic

the world continues to view

itself, from afar
not realising that its all happened before

and
will
again

and
will
again

the world continues to view

peace and prosperity as a dream
but we always wake up before it happens

and we will keep waking up too early
missing on the great promises of peace, prosperity, a gentler, kinder world.

It isn't too far out of the question...everyone wants it.

yet, there isn't enough sleep in the day to make us view things bigger than us...to lose some of our myopia

tragic

am a bit unsure of the world viewing itself, i liek the rest of the poem, just the beginning throws me off slightly

gosh.... I liked this quite a bit. It's...almost as if you've read into my mind- looked at my hopes and fears, my thoughts of the future...and was able to put to paper (or webpage in this case, lol) the very essence of what was and is ...and will remain to be, the workings of my cognitive. I loved this- and it has a wonderful flow. (Looking forward to buying your book in the near future as well- I think it looks extremely intriguing :D )
