The Eagle's Wing
Soaring through the clear blue sky.
Climbing over the endless gray.
Fighting winds and lightning's cry.
Flying, flying, through thick and thin.
They never stop, they never tire.
They skim the valleys and crest the spires.
In their hearts burns an endless fire.
They fight the world and always win.
The eagle soars into the sky.
A shining symbol of burning pride.
They keep fatigue and fear inside.
They beat back the downfalls of man.
A grand example they set for all.
They never fail and never fall.
Look to the sky and hear the call.
And learn to ride the eagle's wing.

This reminds me of old indian songs that I heard from my grandfather. A little more direct and less esoteric than theirs but it reminded me of them nonetheless.
There's some cliche, but then again, sometimes cliche works.
Besides, you can never have enough inspiration. "RIDE THE EAGLES WING!" |

I really like this.
I think that maybe "through thick and thin" is a little cliche, though.
Also, hearts burn, not burns.
Other then that, good job. |

the freedom of the eagles, its a concept I've written about many a times, good job with this. One thing that didn't seem to work is that each of the last lines of the verses, except for verse 1 and 2, seem to throw off the rythm I got from it. But that could just be me
good job. |
