Sweetheart

you try to keep it all together
no matter what you do it all comes
down on you

you try to keep it all together
no matter what you do it all comes
down on you

you try to keep it all together
no matter what you do it all comes
down on you

take it like a man
underhand
all you ever can
do
is make me feel
like shit
enough of this
take the piss
another chance?
you haven't got
another leg to stand on

what is this?
self respect?
oh my god
I haven't seen you
in such a long
long time
I've finally come
to realise
I am worth so much,
much more
than a fuck

Dude, I can totally relate to this one. Re-discovering self respect. Love the reference towards masturbation. hahaha we can definately love ourselves better sometimes.

I feel that when I read your stuff, Lana, it is like reading the biography of a broken relationship, but despite all the anger there is a tenderness and a resolution to learn from your mistakes and come out the other side. So if you're going through a bad time right now (I don't know, it may be fictional) take heart in the fact that we've all been out with cowardly shitbags in our time and they're just not worth it. even though the anger was evident, I had to chuckle to myself... I would hate to be the poor SOB that you were thinking about when you wrote this.

So this is why you got sacked from the Valentine's card factory in Southend, Larn. Oh well. You're better off at the guitar shop, anyway. Guitars are played by one person only. They don't need anybody else. Paul :D
