Like Irregular Chickens

Walk with me
In muddy streams
Kneel down-
Bleed with ease.

Now you flow in dolomite waters
Soon to fertilize distorted trees-
With sooted leaves
And earth sprites observe the disease
Of humanity's possessive creed
As the majority continues to follow in concession
Without question
Missing true adeption
Of divine conception

Leaving earth sprites to weep sorrow
For loss of what was to be
Earth's guardian beings
Now,
only destruction remains.

Superb. A whole world, in so little words. You are very gifted young writer Chris. Your use of words and balance of prose works wonders.

What beautiful poetry you have created here. I love the way you piece your words together.. it all seems very elaborate and very carefully made imagery and consonance. Truly remarkable. Et plus, you have a very nice name :)

The title kind of put me off, but I like this piece a lot. It'd be a good protest piece at an environmental event.
