I'm pretty sure that this is, at best, a poem. I'm sorry. I'm just tired of clicking on 'short story' and getting five lines and 33 words.
I like the idea, although (and i know, i know.. there's nothing new under the sun) i'm pretty sure that i've seen it explored in similar fashion elsewhere.
don't quote me on that, though. Because i'd have to contact my lawyers.
