Isn't it funny how
An angst ridden mind
Can bend time
Loop the very fabric
Of reality
Just to create
A slow motion infinity
Of self inflicted agony?
Locked onto a fearful
Chain of thought,
Fear of loss and
The unknown,
This cancer eats
My soul.
Like a great snake
I consume myself.
Slowly
Methodically
Again.

This is so true. We damage ourselves further with our own fears and negative emotions when facing emotions good or bad. I love the 'again' at the end. One word can say so much. Thank you for this.
