The clever little mouse, and the Feline
The little mouse
awakens
in the house
and is shaken
and is aroused
A large pink nose
Blocks the exit
of the mouse's cubby hole,
No way out,
for the little mouse,
no way to go get food,
The cat blocks his way
to freedom,
But luckily,
the little mouse
stole a pin
the night before,
and so he held it
like a jousting cane,
and charged forward
at the unexpecting feline,
who suddenly feels a sharp
and firm poke in it's nostril,
and lunge's back in
fear, and surprise,
as the clever little mouse
patters into the pantry,
and out of sight
