Entropy

you, so far flung,

my arms will never be that long

no matter how i try

i just... can't...quite...

optical illusion

close yet far away

maybe if i flip the lens...

oh, that's dellusion

there you go

entropy

like sand

"these big hands"

i just couldn't hold on

but i'm seeking

and i'm reaching

you're so far...

I will remember this all day, your first two lines absolutely resonate.

Lines 5 - 8 are my favorites. "Flip the lens" kills me. Every line ended appropriately. Good well done.
