Mini-me

Applesauce monster fed cookies and sent to watch

Cartoons

I love this about you

That you'll listen

But only if you get what you want

It is like your mother

I found this piece to be a very charming short write. Very unique descriptive terms like "Applesauce monster". This has a very charming peace about it. and it seems very honestly written from the narator's side. I love when short pieces can express simple yet explosive feelings and concepts like the connection and love between child and mother.

This poem is very sweet. I agree with the Pandora about the phrase, 'applesauce monster.' I thought the last two lines gave this poem a lot of depth.

The meaning is so well defined by your choices of words. Every word adds to the poem. Cute!

You have no problem at all in sharing the most treasured, most valuable aspects of your life. A simplistic form that works well for what you want to share and say, it is childlike in that it says what it must, it wants to tell all it can and it will do it quickly and sweetly, just like a child.
