Plastic dream
On the concrete she lies
The light flashes.
She widens her big green eyes,
Raising her long lashes.
Watch her fall apart,
The little shattered pieces;
Why don't you pick them up,
And fill up your heart's creases.
Let's drink champagne from a paper cup,
And choke on kerosene.
The cardboard moon rises up,
To meet its plastic queen.
Neon green and blinding pink,
They go well with her crown.
Let her sing and let her drink,
In champagne she will drown.
