Bye bye Love
Your charming face reflects the sun
as I sit by you in the lorry.
Arrive soon, park, be done,
and tell me another story.
Has a thought of me already begun
or lost in summer glory?
You might not entertain a thought
of my identity and presence.
Every pain and longing I fought
taught me a valuable lesson.
Yet if I left me for you to tame,
would everything just be the same?
I clinged to you but walked too slow,
dragged by melancholy sadness.
You promised me to stay and blow
away my silly madness.
I can't keep up your hasty pace,
never complete this race,
With you striking sudden thunders
of your fast mutating wonders.
I turned and tried to search your face
for lines of hesitations,
But what I found within your gaze
aren't signs of reassurance.
Claiming, though distress, you regret.
You rose and ordered me, 'forget'.
The stars will fall and scar my sleep,
Perhaps thats why,
whenever I make a wish I creep.
