Dock

Sitting on the dock
Breathing the morning in
Holding it inside
This sunlight
This morning
Is mine;
For the afternoon and evening
Is and always was
Yours.

I like this poem a lot. I must say I am a sucker for poems that exhibit strong emotion. You did a great job!

I found this poem sad. The guy on the dock has lost a special loved one who used to sit on the dock with him. Now he sits alone. Nice Job!
