What I'm not.
Not a hero from the skies
Not a princess in disguise
Not a fairy tale come to life
Not an oil merchant's wife
Not a famous movie star
Never driven a fancy car
Not a genie in a bottle
Not a sexy runway model
No extra-dressy packages
Not a phony sham,
Don't look at what appears to be
Just accept me for who I am.
For I am Me, and Me is fine,
Even if I never drink elegant wine.
And even if all my dreams never come true,
I'll always be happy with just having you.

| Awww, I think the last stanza is really sweet. I enjoyed reading this, I feel the piece holds a lot of personal meaning, although it is something that I feel many people could relate to. This world would be a better place if people would only accept people for who they are x |

| "just except me for who I am"--my sentiments exaclty. If you can find that person who except you for who you are, flaws and all you have fond the right person. You have awakend my muse with this one. Really enjoyed yet another bit of your thinking. ** |
