I couldn't help you anymore
I couldn't be there when you needed me before
I failed at being there when u needed me most
I feel the nothingness inside me living, trying to boast

Why can't I be the one to feel your pain?
Thinking of you hurt makes my tears fall like the rain
I can't do anything to help you, I am no-one
I don't matter; I'm surprised you're still here, that you haven't run

I'll carry on giving u my love and my heart
They've always been yours right from the start
The only way you will get rid of me
Is if you don't want me anymore, that you'd rather be free

Otherwise I'm here to stay
I'm yours forever; I'll love you more everyday
And although I may be completely worthless
I love you, because of you; my head is no longer a mess

All I wanted was to protect you
I'm sure u realised and you knew
Also that I love you with all my heart
And it doesn't matter what they say, nothing can break us apart
