Just Give Me a Minute
Just give me a minute.
I promise,
I'm fine.
Just a couple more minutes.
I'll try not to cry.
Please,
Just three minutes.
That's all that I need.
Alright,
I'll take four.
But then,
No more for me.
Damn,
Just five minutes.
Don't make me say why.
I just need five more minutes
To say my goodbyes.

| I agree with everyone else, this is a good write. The flow, rhyming and relatability all lend to its success. Good job. Yvylyn |

| Gal, this is really nice. Short and sweet and the rhymes aren't forced. Has a infectious rythm to it. |

I liked the way this poem flowed. The rhyming went really well and it all fit. I know how you feel on "just give me a minute." Saying goodbyes are really tough for me. Thanks for this read!
The best wishes to you,
Samantha |
