Melancholy

Do not be clenched by fear or guilt.
For your sacrifice was not a show of weakness.
Forgive the souls for they do not understand thy burden.
Make peace with the malaise and see the colors come back to life.

Has a biblical, timeless feel to it (probably due to the word 'thy'). Sounds like a mantra rather than a straightforward poem.
