Image in the Mirror

Remorse shadows the deed,
To temptations I fell.
Carry this burden at every step,
scarred Image reflects in the jade.
You see me, but you can't see
the truth hidden in the silhouette.
This eternal duality in existence,
I take it to my grave.

That was really good. I enjoy poetry when I can understand it and relate: I could do both with your writing. This was a powerful piece.
