Brain Trauma

Time running thin
Like the blood
Flowing out
Into the street
From the gash
Opening her head

To the spectators
Bathed in the light
Of the morning sun
Gazing upon
The wounded child

No one moves
Lost their words
Cannot describe
What they see
No one helps.

This could be an allegory for so many things. There are so many examples of people standing by and allowing suffering to happen when it would be so easy to lend a hand. Being 'bathed in light' may be ironic as poeple may feel that they are rightous just because they donate 2 pounds a month to oxfam when the could be really DOING something. Great stuff.
