The sun is shining on this summer's day
I dream us onto a beach far away
The sun on our faces, your hand in mine
That would be my idea of a special time.
The waves would play games with our ankles and our toes
Our lives would be rich as our Lord knows
We would skip and splash, icecreams in our hands
Walk the pier and listen to the Band.
Our life together as perfect as can be
My heart in you and yours in me
This one day my dream you will see
Will be not a dream, but God given reality.

"The waves would play games with our ankles and our toes" -- is is a particularly charming line.
Very uniformed, well formatted piece all together.
The alst two lines with the ending ryhme 'see' and 'reality' has a lovely statement, though the rhyme is slightly forced. But it works. the piece has a nice meter over all.
