The Crave
I'm trapped, dying to see life's many treasures
I'm frightened, having to go out on my own
I'm lost; I need someone to find me
Capture me, please, take me home
Guidance, it's what I need
Hope, it's on this I feed
Love, will I ever find it?
Capture me, please, take me home
Happiness, so much of it I crave
Stand up, be tough, and be brave
With you I walk toe in toe
Capture me, please, take me home
The older I get the more I realize
How hard it's getting to look into your eyes
With each passing day my senses grow cold
Capture me, please, take me home
I must live on for the sake of my family
It is them that made me what I am today
All that I ask is that people accept me
Capture me, please, take me home
The sun burns bright every day
Even so, my body, it doesn't obey
There are many days when I just want to say
Capture me, please, take me home
