And we skipped
And we skipped,
down the country lane,
hand in hand,
oblivious to the world's mistakes.
You and I,
not here even a decade,
were bound by our hands and our,
hearts, as we skipped down the country lane,
past the crumbling rumbling brook,
past the penny candy store,
all the way to,
the roarin' tumblin' shore.
