And we skipped

And we skipped,
down the country lane,
hand in hand,
oblivious to the world's mistakes.
You and I,
not here even a decade,
were bound by our hands and our,
hearts, as we skipped down the country lane,
past the crumbling rumbling brook,
past the penny candy store,
all the way to,
the roarin' tumblin' shore.

The dance of childhood innocence! Nice poetry Dominika; very visual and pure. No nonsense or abstract delusion.
PS. Keep the commas where you like. Commas are grammatically forgiving, especially in poetry.

what fun and it's so clean.
LauraBanks' comment re: comma is correct. That stopped me a moment. If you want them there, well, it IS your poem.

OK, I love how many people have commented this, but please, and I'll only say this one last time. The commas are exactly where I want them to be. OK? I know it sounds broken, I know they don't need to be there. I WANT them there. Thank you. : )
