Perhaps God is as evil as He should be
Perhaps God is as evil as He should be,
cackling everytime a mother of two is gunned down
or a soldier in whoever's army is killed.
Perhaps, while fingering His finely-waxed moustache,
He hits the cancer key, condemning mothers, fathers,
sisters and brothers; or perhaps it's the AIDS key,
installed to wipe out those sinful gays, but since
He enjoyed it so much He decided to expand.
Perhaps He runs back and forth between synagogue
and mosque, creating war through snickered orders.
Perhaps God is as evil as He should be.
Or perhaps He is sitting alone, whispering to deaf ears
who would rather ignore Him than stop.

| This is pretty much my opinion on god in general. Thanks for this! |

| As said, WOW!! This is great stuff. I love everything, EVERYTHING about this. I thought Enrique'd lost his mind when he recommended this until I started reading it, and then BLAM - those last two lines hit you in the head like a brick. Amazing! Thanks for sharing this with us, Logan! Definitely bookshelved. |

This is wonderful! The end is very strong. I enjoy the way you personify what God could be doing or not doing and then you blame us for not listening. Very good poem, Logan!
