You Talk Too Much

why must you write
and plight us
with such
discorteuous prose
so morose
and suppose
the world holds its' breath
for another test
of this ingenious skill
with the gold plated quill

words scattered
words placed
no beauty or grace
just a page to be filled
fast ego-fed-pace
a man with ill will
to excite and fufill
the easily led
with yet more
of your dead
language and bile
so stagnant
banal

maybe
take a break
every once in a while

Liked it a bit but at a point it was like you were simply picking random words from a Thesaurus and slapping them on a page but I guess if you write for music then I would have to hear the music to understand the flow.

Describes every wanky poem I've ever read where the writer may have had a point to begin with, but then lost the plot when they shat a thesaurus on the page.
