Confessions

Engulfed by her mystique
Love osculated my cheek
I stood cowered in her presence
So timid and meek

Knees feeling weak
I trembled in my physique
Yearned for this instant
Like a scarce antique

Lyrics started to leak
With exposed secrets I speak
Each causing pain
Til' she's reached her peak

Very melodic piece which reads almost like a rap. Like the shifting of tenses from first person personal to third person (the other) and the biulding up of embarassment and self effacement from the admiration of another.

Very lyrical poem that captures the way even the most confident person can crumble under the pressure of guilt in the face of desire.
