Grim Reaper

Will you stare death in the eye
When his shadow is upon you
Or shiver with reverence
Once acquainted with the reaper

Will you stand securely
With his icy breath on your cheek
Or submit your soul
To the graveyard keeper

Once you've bowed
To his powerful scythe
I ensure your life
Will be six feet deeper

Between your poem called Smoldering Eyes and this one I sense an elegant sense of thriller/horror in you. No really, this is very good -a chilling good.

I'll probably shit my pants.
Great fun poem, with a nicely subtle rhyming scheme.

Cat.
