Forbidden Fruit

Written somewhere, by someone: 'Living day by day, trying to get a head start in life, sometimes we live only for the moment. Searching for the ingredients of life and when trying to find ourselves, we move away from those who love us and get kicked by life'.

Seasons brings forth change, the weather sings along this happy and sad song of those forgotten and those to come, those who made a difference and those who were wrong' And those who loved and behold, and did what they were told. An actress once said 'After the parties, different lovers, wanting a lot, but not sure of what we want, there comes a time we have to define who we are and where our future might lead'

There is only one precedent to prevent failure - but we just don't care. When days are full of golden sun, enjoying the pureness of forbidden fruit we follow our heart's desire. Believing this pleasure is forevermore, we are willing to give, not knowing the future. Moments in time a person steals some of our innocence and takes a permanent place in our lives, we marry, have children' and divorce. Rivers of regret, as we stand in judgment and held in derision of foolish choices made in absent minded moments.

It seems no speech, nor language can offer an excuse. Those affected by the break-up remain distant and declare in no uncertain terms a deep displeasure of an unacceptable weakness, their scorn like a fire of thorns. Silenced by fear and the snare, desolation reigns in the gloom of anguish. Would it help if they knew it all? Would they react different when the secret parts of broken vows were to be un-covered. Do they not know the moon will be disgraced and the sun ashamed of all that had happened?

Someone observed: 'Only the strongest survive, pain doesn't disappear in the wind, and life is not easy for any of us, but what of that?' We will sing many songs, not all will be joyful. 'Take heed, and be quiet; do not fear or be fainthearted', is written in the Book of Isaiah. When we drown in confusion, we must have perseverance and confidence in ourselves and our God above then time will heal the unthinkable. Above all we must believe that we are meant to be loved by someone and we are gifted for something and that this must be attained.

This then, memories of love and the dying of it, stages of hopeless relationships, terrible from their beginning onward ' and then nothing. Until one bad day changed color from dark to light and turned out to be good.

Jam yesterday, jam tomorrow, but never jam today.

i agree completely. my theory of life is that it happens in cycles (like the seasons, like fruit trees). once a cycle has been completed, one must move on - no matter how much pain is involved.

yup, fruit trees, no matter how bad the last season, will always have an opportuntiy for the next season to bare better fruit, sometimes they bare abd fruit for years, or have bad luck like draught or tree deseases, or insects, but there will always be other seasons, and at some point there will always be a good season
