A Simple Turn

A Simple Turn around my Corner,
Has Changed my Life for sure.

If I hadnt seen you in the rain,
I'd know not of the Cure.

The Months I suffered were not in Vain,
The reason now is Clear.

You pointed me in new directions,
You took away my fear.

The operation saved my life,
I see life now anew.

Each new day brings strength for me,
I owe it all to you....

I hope you told Vicky that you wrote this - she would be ecstatic for it. I guess this means that there is no need to put too many words to paint too vivid a picture - this poem may not venture too much in the color spectrum in terms of words, but it's good just to put the message where it should be - simple and sweet as sugar.

Lovely, simple flow, but accurate and emotional as well.

dedicated to Vicky, whose battle with cancer and strength helped me to overcome my own battle and give me the strength to go on.
