From Dusk 'Till Dawn

From dusk till dawn,
this is the calm before the storm.
and only at twilight,
will the great winds whistle
their cries
of endearment.

only they will churn the spools of soul,
will change the twines of thread
that make up the heart.
only the tune of the willow
can bend you
can break you
or make you whole again.

Very nice poem. It weaves a spell in your mind and carries you away :)

O wow. I heard this one. At first I thought it was another conflict soliloquy set in shadow, but I find it setting a spell of trial and healing with the weaving of the willows. One is strongest whole.

This was eerie, and intersting. A nice dark piece that flowed right off your toungue with each word. Keep it up.

Made me think of the fates spinning every one's lives, for some reason. In any case, very lovely.
