The Secret Sisterhood

Of all we have lost
And all we have known
Everything has a cost
Someone must atone

Of all we believe
And all that we find
We try to get free
Forever entwined

Don't really know why
They were so blind
Feeling the sky
And stars misaligned

Of all we once feared
And all we survived
Into the soul it was seared
An air of love deprived

Of all we have done
And all we could not share
Quietly whispered to each one
The sisterhood is laid bare.

"Walking Before Dawn"

by Mark Mihalko

In every haunted location, ghost story or account there is beauty trapped inside, a beauty that is crying to be left out for the world to see.
This beauty drove me to start Walking Before Dawn, a poetic journey through the unexplained.
