Faith

Can you see
What we believe?
The comfort we find,
In a faithless sea.
Can you hear the men cry
'It's what we believe!'
It's the solace we find.
It's our faith you see.

I think in those few lines sums up the struggles that men/women have every day with their faith or to even believe at all.

You need to be strong to place your faith in something so powerful and beyond the control of a mere human. I guess its that strength which is the source of your comfort.

A difficult poem to unravel, but it seems to be a theme close to your heart. Thanks for sharing.
