Indulgence

Seize the moment, strike the fire
Assemble thy spirit, let it desire
Devastation despair, an earthly pair
I care not I'm en route somewhere
The words in itself do not ensure
That I get there to where I go

Minions are dying, savants ashame
I deprave not, non mine to save
There where it is my genius seeks
Is to profit myself a momentýs peace
I have no cause nor reason concern
All I charge is glorious return

It isn't me the lord has sent
To make thee apprise a life less spent
Yet but for, none but me
How do I make my cavalry seek?
That which I know the great have earned
Through selfless concern for anothers yearn

Deliverance I pray for none but me
Make me be a wonder free

Besides the wonderful choice of words, rhymes, rythm... the notion that finding some sort of salvation is almost selfish in nature and not needing to give any "excuses" for that is very refreshing. :)

This is really very interesting! I like the dancing-on-the-edge-of- nonsensicalness of it, and the rhyming is very well done. Intriguing piece that seems to be very thoughtful.

This is a beautiful poem. I like it a lot, one of my favorite lines:
"I have no cause nor reason concern
All I charge is glorious return. "
Great word choises, good rythym. Nice.
