My Home

It always frightens me

To think that my mind and eyes are innured

To the wide, crisp fields

The sunlight glinting and curling within the waves

The brown distant mountains rolling and undulating along a sharp, tipsy border of sky

Which echoes the pale and wild blue of those lonely eyes

Searching quietly the warm expanses

Across the land and my soul

I enjoyed your imagery, imagining the places I have been. And your message is great. "It always frightens me/to thing that my mind and eyes are innured." I know the feeling.
