naked vision

there's a lampost standing
under empire standing
under full moon
staring at you

a pillow that we pray on
and some that we delay on
under universe
staring at you

the hand that was kissed
the sermon that you missed
there's a little girl
whom
can clearly see you

hope for redemption
sweet whine for salvation
let us fall
till the morning's through
