i've seen more damnation
from diamonds than death
more souls saved
from service than preaching
fates made ghastly
by gold not brimstone
lives become real
by spirit not bone

I like the whole - this instead of that - going on. and it's all so true and all so vivid and all so real. you create a nice image that backs it up with detail... though small but blunt.
I like this poem a lot. Personally I would put a line break after lines two and six, but that's just me. I really enjoy reading your work. Keep them coming.
