Focal Animal
This focal animal
Cat eyes peering, looking, seeing
Prey possibilities, orbs gleaming
What is he seeing?
What's he thinking, meaning?
Visions far or seeing near? Unnerving
Must have chasings, huntings
Must have a life, someones, a gleaning
Must show holy aloofness unswerving
Looking, thinking, cunning kit'ling
Seeing things when seems a'dreaming
Shadows, motes, or a spirits glowing
This cat sits here preening
Angel soft with demon feelings
Now losing focal intentions, seeming
The bird or spirit flies off freely
Window prisoned, the eyes grow sleepy
The cat now lies dozing, twitchy dreaming
