one day

One day you'll walk in the door
I don't know what you'll look like
I don't know what you'll be like
All of a sudden our eyes will meet and we'll know
Maybe I already know you
Maybe I talk to you everyday
Maybe I still have yet to meet you
But whatever the case I know realizing who you are will be wonderful
We'll be together till death do us part.

Concise and sweet. I agree with Teri, the hope this piece is filled with is a very needed breath of fresh air. Good write.

This is so sweet. I love the hope portrayed. I've been reading (and writing) cranky poetry all night, and this was like a breath of fresh air! Thank you. :)
