I was particularly drawn to Gary's pain, if pain is the right word for a cartoon snail. It's long been a mysterious why Sponge Bob lives a relatively pain-free and careless existence compared to Gary's gloomy and comparatively unlucky experience. Is there supposed to be a reason for this? This poem sparked this and other questions. Has there ever been an epsiode where Gary tried to suppress his pain through medication? Please, continue!

Adorable... I wonder what Nickelodeon would say about this. Perfect for a child's poetry book on Spongebob.
