Wine Night Revisited

I'm drunk as hell
by the time she arrives

I'm not alone but I am

The other girl isn't oblivious
the affection she shows
brought on by pinot grigio

Brings lost love to my table

Lost love insists:
Do what I've done
Go where I've been

If only she could see
her naivety

A collection of identities
juxtaposed in my mind

Even I've forgotten who I am

'the affection she shows / brought on by pinot grigio / Brings lost love to my table' - lovely lines. Great ending.
