I Remember...

I still find it hard to believe...
I am still horrified...
I am still in awe of the brave few...
I honor those that ran "in" instead of "away"...
I feel for those who lost loved ones...
I still cry...
I remember...

very well done. You certainly captured a lot of emotion in just a few lines. How can we ever forget?

It's one of those days that those who lived through it will never forget. Like when Kennedy was shot- you remember where you were when it happened, when the news of it reached you, etcetera. Good write. Yvy

You say so much in so few words, Iris. I especially like your fourth line. The ones who ran "in." We will always remember.
