I am going through some changes
And you can't save me from myself
I've woken up a different person
I'll never be the same
I've caused myself too much damage
I'm broke
But don't fix me
I like the way I am
I like being broken
Pain is written on my bleeding heart
I've got the scars to prove
My mortal flesh conquest
Letting the blood run
Dripping into a crimson tide
Mixing with my tears
Through this
A new me is born
Scars on my flesh
Pain engraved in my heart
I may be going through some changes
And I'm broken
But at least I don't hide it.

I love that last line, "But at least I don't hide it." There are way too many fakes out there. We all go through changes. We all make mistakes and have our idiosyncracies. Embracing it is beautiful. Good write ~ Yvy
