She's Enigmatic Pt. II
She tells lies, you see.
'My mother has black lung,'
and 'Yeah, I'm trying to get a piece of ass,'
and 'Books just aren't interesting anymore''
And on and on she goes.
She only thinks certain things are beautiful.
She fucks construction workers, bartenders, and artists,
Saying, and secretly hoping that
these people are 'real'
'Real?'
What the fuck kind of bullshit is that?
Who does she know that I don't?
When will she stop?
She goes outside
and has long conversations
on her cellphone
and chain smokes.
She's full of shit,
and we're all guilty
of the crime
of intrigue.

| Ben, this is an interesting piece of work. These type of conversations are a staple for some. Good job. |

| At first, I felt like this was starting to fall apart near the middle. Perhaps there's something you could do to tie that up. By the end, I thought it was awesome. I love the last stanza. I can see this chick in my head -- she reminds me of people I know, vaguely. |
