dot
familial shadows gathered about a candle
a white rose falls through us all
the name writ small upon an echo's carriage
and the dirt falling after is a world ended
as we bury ourselves in the death of another
what did the words mean to one lost in thought?
what did the prayers mean to one asking questions?
i am an answer of silence grown in solitude
i am a confusion of tears for a simple request
and i am the line that comes after the full stop

| An end of an era. All change. Stop, ponder, eventually move on. Your words express the emotions of personal experience. I would hold your hands, look in to your eyes and quote "All things must pass". |

| gorgeous work. especially last two lines, well... really all of it. booookshelved! (was the name writ small because it was a child? was the deceased humble? unimportant? poor? a clue left for the reader to ponder?) |

Very beautiful thoughts, I agree. There are many questions that even if they were answered, the answers wouldn't be enough.
"and the dirt falling after is a world ended" It doesn't have to end, but continue through you, darling. *HUGS* Yvy |

| Beautiful thoughts, Paul. Lots of questions here no one can answer, least of all ourselves. We die to make room for others. It's the only answer I can give you. *points to tummy* Don't worry. He'll never read this. *big hug* To my beloved Paul, squeeeeezy hugs and chicken dances. I know this hurts, and I wish I could make it all better. I can't, but I can offer you a smile and my friendship, love and respect always. T. xoxox and z z z z z z z z z z |
