Rapture - draft #1

Please let me breathe
the air from Paradise
And hear music mortals cannot hear
let me drink til my soul overflows
and drown sweetly without fear

I could not catch cupid ,nor be caught
My dreams dispersed before the morn
Daring to believe, the knight fights for me
In his arms a woman is reborn

Once I could not see the light
Now my tears are wiped away
Love floated me on her gossamer wings
I touched the sun's each golden ray

you definately have an ability to compose poetry in an old style, one that is reminescent of a 19th century ode. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but it's a complement believe me! A stunning work!

"Rapture" My dark mind loves that word. I really enjoyed the visuals in this poem. The only thing that was a little out of place for me was in the last stanza, second line.

Very much enjoyed.**
