frozen

The darkness runs itself
through my veins
filling them up
closing them off
turning me cold

My eyes crystalize
in baby blue
looking out at her
shades of brown
I crave her darkness
somehow it fills me

She pulls away
her darkness overcomes me
swallowing me whole
impaling my heart
with stillness
that she sucks from me
leaving me dead
filling her up

Beautifully written, every word seems carefully chosen to express the emotion. Lovely.

Love the lines 'My eyes crystalize, in baby blue' and I enjoyed the rest of the poem, its a very intreguing piece which draws you back to it over and over.

There is so much depth on so many lebvels of consciousness. I am aware of all, as in body mind and soul.

amazing. you are making imagine who she is. I'm going to venture a guess. She's death personified :) at least that's what I think of when I read this. I interprete it as you crave for death as an escape and you are describing when she finally arrives to take you with her.
