The true nature of darkness
Walking alone through the deep dark night
The shadow surround me and consume me with fright
Though the fear is not long lived, as I give into the shadow's will
Because what you all must know, is that shadows don't kill
The darkness can guide us just like a good friend
Though most people assume it's evil in the end
This is not true because it's just misunderstood
The darkness is not seen as a friend, even though it should (be)
People always seem to fear the things they don't understand
And the darkness can consume them like nothing of the land
But I digress from my story originally being told
Because of the fact that the darkness grows cold
When the darkness consumed me, it lent me a hand
And it showed me how to learn and to understand
The whisps and the whispers, always around me so
Are my ultimate tool, so that I always will know
I understand the shadow's curse, to be forsaken by all
And because of this understanding, I never shall fall
The darkness always shall guide me, that is for sure
And throughout everything that happens, the shadows will endure.
