Take Me to Places/Be My Escape
Beggin' you
(be my escape)
Just beggin' you
(be my escape)
On my knees now
(beggin' you)
To be my escape
Take me to places,
Where the air smells sweet,
(Just take me there)
Where I don't need to listen
(to the voices screaming in my head)
Just breathe,
(breathe easy)
I can taste the rot in my mouth,
(Bottles of vinegar, stinking of death)
They've put silver needles in my eyes
(blinded, blinded, can't see the light)
So just take me to that place,
(over the horizon, over the stars)
Where I see nothing
(but your eyes)
Smell nothing
(but the sweet sea breeze)
I'm dying
(if you didn't know)
I'm reaching
(for things that you just can't see)
Can't escape myself,
(but you can help me run away)
Let me open the door,
And enter the borders of that foreign land
Beggin' you
(be my escape)
Just beggin' you
(be my escape)
On my knees now
(beggin' you)
to be my escape.
